This ad was commissioned by the Central Office of Information for the NHS as part of a direct marketing campaign to encourage people to give up smoking. The film is called Reasons - as in what's your reason for giving up.
We were given pretty much a free hand to choose the style we wanted. Instrumentation is simple - a couple of acoustic guitars, a 'cello and some layered violin tracks.
